Extended Warranties

When you purchase products from us, we will offer you extended warranty wherever possible. This comes in the form of Retracare. There are two different policies Retracare now provide, these are Retracare Gold and Retracare Silver.
Retracare Gold provides mechanical and electrical cover including Accidental damage to cover those unfortunate mishaps. Retracare Silver offers the same comprehensive mechanical and electrical cover without accidental damage for those consumers that simply don’t want the extra cover or have a suitable policy already in place.

We offer up to five years cover, and there is no obligation for you to take out extended warranty it will be up to yourself. If you decide it's for you, we can add the price onto your weekly payments. At the point of sale, we will provide you with the option of a quotation for this service, and explain the weekly cost and total amount payable, which will be charged at the same rate of interest as the product you are purchasing. If you decide not to, all repair costs will be down to yourself once the Manufacturer warranty has expired.
Terms and Conditions will apply if you do take out a Retra Care Warranty Plan your Accounts Representative will give you a leaflet explaining the full Terms and Conditions which is also explained on your warranty certificate. If your product breaks down within the Manufacturer’s Warranty please call Easy Buy on 0333 123 9000 or call the Manufacturer, numbers listed in the table below.
If your product breaks down within your Extended Warranty period, please call your Extended Warranty firm you will find the number on your certificate or the numbers are below:
Please Note
If your products come with a 2, 3, 4- or 5-year manufacturer’s warranty, it is your responsibility to make sure you register your product with the manufacturers. You must do this to get the warranty on your products. If failed to do so your product will only be covered for the standard 12 months.
Extended Warranties will only be offered on White / Brown Goods. Technology Goods (Laptops, Phones, Consoles, etc) will not be offered Extended Warranties and will ONLY have the Manufacturer’s Warranty.
If you have recently been given a quotation for extended warranty on a new product you have recently bought from us, PLEASE NOTE due to new regulations your product cannot be delivered for 48 hours after receiving your quotation and you confirming you would like to go ahead and purchase the extended warranty, we would like to apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
All cars come with a 3-month warranty through Benmarks Motors. All cars are sold through our sister company Benmarks Motors, where Easy Buy supplies the finance for the vehicle. All repairs, service, MOT and road tax is payable by the customer in all circumstances and not covered by your account.
Accidental Damage Cover / Insurance
If you have opted for the GOLD Retra Care Plan, you will be covered by accidental damage . PLEASE NOTE: Accidental Damage cover does NOT cover Theft on your products. Accidental Damage Cover can be added to the Hire Purchase and spread the cost weekly and same interest rate as your products.
Term and Conditions will apply if you do take out an Accidental Damage Plan your Accounts Representative will give you a leaflet explaining the full Terms and Conditions which is also explained on your warranty certificate. Please note: Accidental Damage cover cannot be purchased for items below the cost of £100, Televisions under 26”, DVD’s, phones, tablets, or any other portable / mobile device.
There is no obligation to take out the Accidental Damage cover, however Easy Buy products do not come with insurance or extra cover against theft or breakages. If your product becomes damaged or stolen, it will not be covered, and you will still be liable for the outstanding balance under the terms of your Hire Purchase Agreement.

If your product has been damaged and you have not taken out Accidental Damage Cover, You will still be required to pay the remaining balance on your account Under the terms of your Hire Purchase Agreement. Easy Buy do not offer theft insurance it is your reasonability to get your own Theft Insurance if needed, You will still be required to pay the remaining balance on your account Under the terms of your Hire Purchase Agreement if your products have been stolen with no Theft cover on them. |
